From the first time we fired up our smokers in May 2020, Wholy Smoke Family Restaurant quickly stoked the fires of BBQ passion throughout the Mauldin community. Prep cooks could scarcely keep up with the demand as a city-block line formed and held strong from open to close on that very first day. The intoxicating aromas of all-wood smoked meats had announced the arrival of our pitmasters.
 
Within seven business days of opening our doors, the constant clamor for more allowed Wholy Smoke Family Restaurant to recoup our entire initial investment costs. The word — and craving— had spread that fast about our authentic Texas-style BBQ joined with real Southern country cooking.
